Dave Rapaport, Global Social Mission Officer, Ben & Jerry's

​A mission-driven activist for more than 30 years across the business, non-profit and government sectors, Dave Rapaport is the Global Social Mission Officer for Ben & Jerry’s. He leads the iconic Vermont-based ice cream company’s commitment to be a force for good, with focus is on the day-to- day impacts of its operations and value chain, and on using its business influence to promote progressive social change. Prior to joining Ben & Jerry’s, he was vice president of Earth and Community Care for Aveda, where he helped drive the pioneering beauty company’s mission to care for the world and model environmental leadership and responsibility.

Previously, Rapaport held leadership positions with green household care products pioneer, Seventh Generation, and in business and project development in the renewable energy industry. Before joining the business world, Dave spent two decades in the public policy arena, serving as executive director of Vermont Public Interest Research Group and as senior staff with the environmental organization, Greenpeace, where he directed national work on toxic chemicals and pollution prevention.
Cheryl L Dorsey
Cheryl L. Dorsey, President, Echoing Green

Cheryl L. Dorsey is the president of Echoing Green, a global nonprofit that supports emerging social entrepreneurs and invests deeply in their ideas and leadership. A social entrepreneur herself, Cheryl received an Echoing Green Fellowship in 1992 to launch The Family Van, a community-based mobile health unit in Boston. Cheryl has served in two presidential administrations and currently serves on several boards including The Bridgespan Group and Skoll Foundation. She has received numerous awards, including the Pfizer Roerig History of Medicine Award, the Robert Kennedy Distinguished Public Service Award, and the Manual C. Carballo Memorial Prize. Cheryl was been named one of "America's Best Leaders" by US News & World Report and the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School and one of The Nonprofit Times' "Power and Influence Top 50." She has a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and her master's in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School.

Michael Kobori is a leading practitioner of corporate sustainability. He is currently Chief Sustainability Officer at Starbucks Coffee Company and he led sustainability at Levi Strauss & Co. for 18 years. Michael spent the early part of his career on human rights and economic development in Asia. In addition to his work, Michael is a lecturer at the Haas Business School, University of California at Berkeley, and is also the Executive Producer of Utopia Theatre Project, an artist-led social justice theater company.

Erin is the Executive Director of the award-winning Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. CASE is a leader in the field of social innovation, serving as a hub for research, teaching and practitioner engagement. CASE’s work includes premier educational programming, the CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing, and the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD), an accelerator focused on scaling global health ventures in India and East Africa.
In her role at CASE, Erin leads the development and execution of center strategy, establishes relationships with key constituents, oversees operations and programs and contributes to thought leadership on social entrepreneurship. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management, Learning & Education; Huffington Post; NextBillion, DevEx, Social Impact Exchange, and she most recently served as the lead author of CASE’s Scaling Pathways series, in partnership with the Skoll Foundation, USAID’s Global Development Lab and MercyCorps.
Erin has been at Fuqua since 2009, having played a variety of roles within CASE as well as developed the strategy for and launched a new position within the Fuqua Career Management Center focused on social impact careers. Prior to Fuqua, Erin worked in the nonprofit, public and private sectors including consulting with government and nonprofit clients at Booz Allen Hamilton, helping to develop public-private partnerships at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), working on private sector development issues at the World Bank, and working for a nonprofit think tank in Washington D.C. She earned her BA from Duke University and her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Erin was recognized as a “40 under 40” awardee by the Triangle Business Journal in 2014.

Jason Rahlan, Director of Social Impact and Philanthropy, Chobani

Jason Rahlan is the Director of Social Impact and Philanthropy at Chobani. In this role, he oversees philanthropic investments and grants for the company.  He manages the organization’s nonprofit and public sector partnerships on issue- and policy-related initiatives, advocacy campaigns, and natural disaster response efforts. In this work, he partners with senior internal leaders to define goals and priorities and seeks to drive meaningful change at the local, state, and national level through an effective use of the company’s voice, profits, and people. He also co-develops internal wellness initiatives that establish policies of greater inclusion, diversity, and equity for Chobani's more than 2,000 employees.   

Prior to Chobani, Jason has served as Communications Director for the Human Rights Campaign, as Communications Director for Ambassador Capricia Marshall at the U.S. Department of State, as Press Secretary for Congresswoman Jackie Speier, as Press Aide at the Center for American Progress, and on then-Senator Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. ​

Amy Reid, Director, Institute for Healthcare Improvement

Amy Reid, MPH, is a Director at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) leading the Institute’s efforts to advance health equity. Ms. Reid’s health equity leadership encompasses strategy development; initiative design, implementation, and evaluation; teaching and coaching. This includes directing IHI’s Pursuing Equity Initiative to narrow equity gaps and understand how health care can leverage its resources to advance equity. In addition, Ms. Reid coaches community coalitions to advance health, well-being, and equity. She has received training in improvement coaching and in advancing racial justice. Before joining IHI, Ms. Reid supported quality improvement programs at the North Carolina Area Health Education Center (NC AHEC) and at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health where she conducted a qualitative evaluation of a maternal and child health quality improvement program in Ghana. Her thought leadership in writing and speaking engagements spans topics including formative evaluation, community engagement in quality improvement, health equity, and scale up. Amy received an MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from Davidson College.

Burnell Holland, Deputy Director, My Brother's Keeper Alliance, Obama Foundation

​Burnell Holland is currently Deputy Director of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, an initiative of The
Obama Foundation. MBK Alliance was born out of President Obama’s call to action to ensure all of
our nation’s boys and young men of color have equal opportunity to achieve their full potential. In
this role, he is primarily responsible for managing the development and implementation of the MBK
Community Challenge Competition, a national grant competition focused on community investment
in the areas of youth violence reduction and effective mentoring practices. The MBK Community
Challenge Competition anchors the MBK Alliance’s place-based strategy to accelerate impact in
targeted communities throughout the United States.
 
Prior to his transition to the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, Burnell served as Chief of Staff in the DC
Public Schools Office of Innovation and Research. In this role, one of his major tasks included the
day-to-day management of the district’s Empowering Males of Color initiative, a bold effort by
Mayor Muriel Bowser and former Chancellor Kaya Henderson to improve educational and life
outcomes for African American and Latino males within DCPS. Burnell also spent several years
working in the district’s Office of Family and Public Engagement.
 
Burnell holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College, a Master of Public Administration degree
from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and an Executive
Masters in Leadership from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Katherine Neebe, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, Global Responsibility, Walmart
x
Katherine joined Walmart in 2013 and currently leads the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, focusing on strengthening the company’s global responsibility program and demonstrating how it delivers shared value and long-term financial performance. She also leads Walmart’s work on human rights. Previous to Walmart, Katherine spent six years at WWF managing one of the world’s largest corporate-NGO partnerships, a $97MM sustainability-driven initiative with The Coca-Cola Company focused on water, agriculture and climate which was active in over 45 countries. Over the past 20 years, Katherine has worked with a wide range of corporate, government and nonprofit organizations. Weaving together her intensive business experience and commitment to social and environmental responsibility, she brings a practical ability to ground sustainability into actionable terms. Katherine received her MBA from The Darden School at UVa and has a BA in English from Colorado College.

Brooke Barton, VP of Innovation & Evaluation, Ceres

​As the Vice President of Innovation and Evaluation, Brooke oversees Ceres’ innovation efforts to develop new models for accelerating private sector leadership on sustainability. In her role, she helped launch and currently directs the Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets.
Previously, Brooke launched Ceres' Water and Food & Forest programs, directing the organization's strategy for mobilizing leading investors and companies to address the sustainability risks facing our freshwater, food and agriculture systems. She is the author & co-author of numerous reports including, The Ceres Aqua Gauge: A Framework for 21st Century Water Risk Management; Feeding Ourselves Thirsty: Tracking Food Company Progress Towards a Water-Smart Future, and Water and Climate Risks Facing U.S. Corn Production.
Prior to Ceres, Brooke was a researcher for the Harvard Business School's Social Enterprise Initiative, where she wrote case studies and articles on the integration of business strategy and sustainability. She holds a master's degree from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Duke University.

​Alex Michalko is a Sustainability Product Manager at Amazon, where she leads Amazon’s sustainability reporting and customer engagement initiatives. Prior to joining Amazon, Alex worked on the sustainability teams at REI and The Walt Disney Company. She also served as a Research Fellow at Project Drawdown, an initiative led by Paul Hawken to measure the expected environmental and financial impact of accelerating the adoption of the 100 most substantive solutions to climate change. Alex received her MBA and Master of Environmental Management degrees from Duke University, where her master's thesis focused on consumer goods eco-labelling. She also holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.

Milena Pribic, Everyday Ethics for AI Guide, Advisory Designer, IBM

Milena Pribic is defining what it means to design for Artificial Intelligence at IBM. As a member of the IBM Design for AI team, she is currently creating and scaling resources on ethical AI for designers and developers. Milena has spoken about AI ethics to a diverse, international audience--recently representing IBM at the Global Governance of AI Roundtable in Dubai, UAE. She previously designed AI experiences on IBM Watson and Watson Education where she focused on machine personality. Prior to IBM, Milena received degrees in Urban Studies and Writing at the University of Toronto before briefly working in the music industry.

Julia Moshkin, Head of Sustainability Innovation, EcoVadis

From working on renewables and energy efficiency projects in the public and private sectors, to technology enabled sustainable procurement, over the last decade Julia dedicated her career to maximizing positive impact and creating value through sustainability. Six years ago, Julia joined EcoVadis as one of the first sustainability analysts in New York, and played a key role in the company’s expansion in North America. Today, she is responsible for fostering  innovation of EcoVadis digital products and methodology focusing on sustainability. Her key responsibilities include engaging with industry experts and bringing the insight from collaborations back to EcoVadis, where her teams use it to power product and methodology evolution.

Daniel Fay, Director of Research Outreach, Microsoft

​Daniel Fay has over 25 years’ experience engaging with advanced and cutting-edge computing technologies and bringing them to the research community.  He is currently the Senior Director of Strategic Engagements for Microsoft Research, and uses his broad insight in software and hardware to define and lead engagement strategies for new and emerging technologies.  In continually being at the convergence of new technologies, Dan has gained knowledge, expertise, and insight across a wide variety of technologies and domains.  This has included leading multidisciplinary teams to collaborate on addressing scientific challenges among them their work on visualizing and exploring geospatial data through the WorldWide Telescope Project. Dan has project experience working with Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, Grid Computing, collaboration and visualization tools in scientific research.  Currently Dan is driving strategic engagements focused on emerging technologies in computing systems, specifically around FPGAs, Optical Networking and Distributed IoT and Edge computing.  Dan has also served on many conference program committees, NSF panels, and serves on the Purdue Polytechnic Industrial Advisory Council.  Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Dan was a senior software engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation working on OSF/1 and embedded network devices. Dan is a graduate of Northeastern University in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Sam Schatz, Managing Director of Corporate Development, AeroFarms

Sam Schatz, Managing Director + Global Head of Farm Development for AeroFarms, joined as the first employee after the company founders in 2012.  The company has grown to over 150 employees and operates the world’s largest vertical farm in Newark, NJ.  Sam leads strategy and execution of the company’s expansion to new markets in addition to other strategic initiatives.  Sam is an Advisor to the St. Louis based-AgTech accelerator The Yield Lab and Founder and Managing Partner of Painter Hill Venture Partners, a New York-based VC.

​Previous experience includes Berlin based Wermuth Asset Management where he advised on investments into privately-held clean technology companies and London-based Active Earth Investments where he led investment into listed mining and mid-cap industrial companies with a focus on environmental stewardship and socially responsible business practices. Sam is a recipient of the Alfa Fellowship and received his MSc from the London School of Economics where he was the President and Founder of the Graduate Management Society and his Bachelor's from Columbia University where he served on the Student Advisory Board to the Columbia University Earth Institute.

Daniel Vermeer, Ph.D. Associate Professor of the Practice of Energy & Environment Executive Director Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) Fuqua School of Business, Duke University 
Dr. Daniel Vermeer is founder and director of Duke University's Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE), an initiative that harnesses the power of business to meet the global demand for energy, resources, and improved quality of life. Through education, thought leadership, and outreach, EDGE helps to develop promising new solutions to global energy and sustainability challenges, and convenes business, civic, and academic leaders to scale these solutions for maximum impact. 
Since EDGE’s founding in 2010, Vermeer has launched several new programs including the Energy Industry Fundamentals workshop, EDGE Seminar on Energy & Environment, EDGE Chats video series, EDGE Notes blog, and the EDGE Forum (2014 Forum on the China Cleantech Revolution). He has also recruited 12 leading global companies to participate in the EDGE Advisory Council, including ABB, Duke Energy, Chevron, Coca-Cola, SunRun and Walmart. EDGE plays a major role in supporting several student clubs (e.g. Energy Club, Net Impact Club, MEM-MBA Club), and coorganizing the annual Energy Conference, Sustainable Business and Social Impact Conference, and Week-in-Cities tours. 
Vermeer is Associate Professor of the Practice at Fuqua School of Business and Nicholas School of the Environment, where he teaches sustainability, energy, and international business courses. In addition to his Business Strategies for Sustainability class, Vermeer leads the EDGE Seminar Series, advises student teams through the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum, and co-leads the China GATE Course, an immersive  introduction to Chinese culture and business that includes a 2-week trip to four Chinese cities. In his consulting practice, he works on sustainability challenges with leading companies and organizations including Bank of America, ABB, GE, Walmart, Dupont, The Nature Conservancy, UN Global Compact, Claremont Creek Ventures, and other private and public organizations. 
His areas of expertise include sustainability strategy, risk management, energy & behavior, value chains, resource productivity, water and ecosystem services, sustainable agriculture, industrial efficiency, product certification, and sustainable development. His current research focuses natural capital considerations in business decision-making, water risk and resilience, data and analytics for sustainable agriculture, cleantech urban development, and energy innovation in emerging markets. 
At Duke, Vermeer collaborates with several related initiatives, including the Duke University Energy Initiative, Center for Sustainability and Commerce, Duke Campus Sustainability Committee, Food Sustainability Committee, and the Duke Campus Farm. He is the faculty advisor to several student Master’s Projects at the Nicholas School for the Environment and Sanford School for Public Policy. He also serves on the Duke Brazil Initiative Board, and is a partner on a Mellon grant focused on Energy Geopolitics in the Western Hemisphere. 
Beyond Duke, Vermeer is an editor for the Frontiers in Energy Systems and Policy journal, and serves on the Award Nominating Committee for the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability (ARCS). He also is on Sustainability Advisory Boards for Ingersoll Rand and Xylem. He currently serves on USAID’s Powering Agriculture Mentoring Council, where he advises entrepreneurial ventures that provide energy solutions for agriculture in the developing world. 
Vermeer joined Duke from The Coca-Cola Company, where he led the Global Water Initiative, an industry-leading effort to protect the quality and availability of the company's primary ingredient. As part of this work, he designed a new risk management methodology for assessing Coca-Cola’s global manufacturing facilities, and founded Coca-Cola’s Community Water Partnerships program, resulting in nearly 500 public-private partnerships in over 90 countries. 
During his tenure at Coca-Cola, he also launched the company’s Sustainable Agriculture program to manage lifecycle impacts of agricultural supply chain inputs, and led the Sustainable Value Chain initiative to embed sustainability capabilities across business functions, including finance, strategy, operations, marketing, and procurement. 
Vermeer plays a leading public role in advocating for business sustainability through speaking, research, and institution-building. He is the founder and chief architect of the Global Water Challenge, a multi-partner organization for innovative water and  sanitation initiatives, co-author of the CEO Water Mandate (signed by more than 50 Fortune 500 companies), and lead contributor to several policy documents issued through the World Economic Forum, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and the United Nations Foundation. 
Vermeer is trained as an anthropologist, and did extensive fieldwork and research in the Himalayas of India and Nepal as part of his Master’s thesis at the University of Virginia. He completed his Ph.D. in Learning Sciences at Northwestern University, where he conducted research on organizational learning and change at Xerox PARC in Silicon Valley. Currently, he lives in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife and two children.

Karen Beadle, Senior Director, Partnerships and Engagement for SM&S, Nike

​Karen Beadle is Senior Director, Partnerships & Engagement in the Sustainable Manufacturing & Sourcing group at Nike. In her role, she leads stakeholder engagement and partnership strategies across sustainability topics, from climate change to human rights. Prior to joining Nike, Karen led various stakeholder engagement and sustainability functions in the energy industry while with Andeavor and ConocoPhillips. She also served in corporate affairs at United Airlines in Chicago, and corporate responsibility and international labor standards with The Walt Disney Company in the Los Angeles area. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Policy Studies from DePaul University and a master’s degree in International Development from the London School of Economics.

Katie Anderson manages the Resilient Food and Forest team at EDF, a non-profit that has been working with companies for over 30 years to catalyze business and environmental wins. Katie and her team collaborate with leading companies to reduce climate, water and forest impacts from global food production. She is a proud double Duke alumna with a BS in Biology and a Masters of Environmental Management focused on business, agriculture and environment. ​

Freya Williams, CEO, Futerra North America

Freya Williams is CEO, North America of Futerra, the global sustainability change agency and author of Green Giants: How Smart Companies Turn Sustainability Into Billion Dollar Businesses. One of the leading voices in the sustainability, brand purpose and social impact movements in the United States, Freya has advised organizations as varied as Google, PVH Corporation, L’Oreal and the United Nations on how to incorporate sustainability and social good into their businesses and brands and turn sustainability into business advantage. Her work has been featured in The Financial Times, The Economist and Bloomberg. Freya lives in NYC with her family. ​

Chelsey Evans, Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Nordstrom

Chelsey leads sustainability for Nordstrom as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility team. Her goal is to find ways for Nordstrom to help drive systems change on social and environmental issues across its value chain – as a retailer, a producer of goods, a service provider, an employer and a community member. Chelsey recently led the launch of Sustainable Style, a shopping category on Nordstrom.com where customers can find more sustainable and socially responsible products. She also oversees strategies related to circularity, packaging improvement and reduction, and climate change, among other topics. She has worked for several major retailers and she holds a Master of International Business from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

​John M. Buley, Jr. is Professor of the Practice of Finance at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Advisory Committee Chair of the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship Impact Investing Initiative. In 2012, John retired from JP Morgan, where he was Head of Principal Investing for Social Finance. As a unit of JP Morgan’s Investment Bank, the Social Finance Group is responsible for investing JP Morgan’s capital commitment of $100mm in impact investments in the Emerging Markets. Prior, John was Chairman and Head of the Investment Committee of JPM Mezzanine Capital, a proprietary investment strategy focused on subordinated debt and equity co-investment for mid-cap U.S. and European companies. JPM Mezzanine Capital invested over $1bn in over 40 private companies in the U.S. and Europe during his tenure. John has held Board of Director responsibilities or Board observer rights for over 20 private U.S. companies. John started his career as an attorney in the banking practice of White & Case. John earned a J.D. from Temple University and an LL.M in International Taxation from Villanova University. John is a member of the New York Bar and admitted to practice in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Justin Worthley, Senior Vice President of People & Culture, Burton Snowboards

Justin Worthley is a member of Burton’s Senior Team and heads up global People & Culture strategy and operations, as well as Burton’s Burlington, Vermont headquarters/facility operations.  Since joining Burton in 2011, Justin has worked to elevate Burton’s company culture and employment brand through a focus on employee development and engagement, talent planning, JEDI (justice, equity, diversity and inclusion), leadership development, managing organizational change, increasing global alignment and transparency, and investing in HQ facility upgrades. Justin is on the Board of the Chill Foundation and was a founding Board Member of the Vermont Outdoor Business Alliance. Prior to Burton, Justin worked in leadership, operations and HR roles at Rhino Foods, Bosch, Unilever, and Ben & Jerry’s. He has a BA in environmental studies from UVM and an MSA in organizational behavior from St. Michael’s College. He and his wife Cara live in South Burlington and have two grown kids, a spunky granddaughter, and the best dog in the world Max. When he’s not working, you can find him snowboarding, traveling, hiking, building furniture in his garage, making garden beds, digging weeds, or driving around in his restored 1970 MGB.

Sarah Hoyt, Investment Director, Mission-Related Investing, Cambridge Associates

Sarah joined Cambridge Associates in 2017. She conducts manager research through the lens of impact and ESG and is based in the Boston office. Her focus spans asset classes and impact themes, and she leverages this research to support clients in activating impact and environmental, social, and governance considerations in portfolios.

Sarah has over ten years of diverse experience in the nonprofit and private sectors. She began her career advancing women’s political and economic empowerment in western Africa. She then spent four years with Conservation International in Washington DC leveraging climate change science to influence global policy. This work prompted her graduate studies at Duke University, where she focused on the link between corporate strategy, environmental and social performance, and impact investing.

​Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Sarah worked for management consulting firm Partners in Performance on operational improvement initiatives for industrial clients around the world. Sarah brings a unique blend of perspectives in environmental management and business strategy and operations to the Mission Related Investing Platform, and balances client engagement with in-depth manager research.

Sarah has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and a BA from Bates College.

Arlene Isaacs‐Lowe, Global Head of CSR and President of Moody's Foundation, Moody's

​Arlene Isaacs‐Lowe is the Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Moody’s Corporation and President of The Moody’s Foundation. With a focus on creating long-term shareholder value, she champions the integration of CSR activities across Moody’s operating companies and functions and has oversight of philanthropic giving and employee engagement initiatives. She was appointed to this role in 2017, and under her leadership, Moody’s has embarked on a global and comprehensive CSR strategy that aligns with its businesses opportunities. Her mandate is the enhancement and differentiation of Moody’s brand and reputation through authentic societal engagement that is reflective of the company’s culture, expertise and priorities of its stakeholders. Previously she was head of Moody’s Investors Service Relationship Management Team responsible for driving revenue and market coverage across Europe, The Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Over the past two decades, she has held analytical and business roles of increasing importance at Moody’s Investors Service. 
Ms. Isaacs‐Lowe has multi‐faceted experience in developing and successfully executing enterprise wide strategic plans, and is a skilled leader, adept at productive collaboration; and building and motivating multi‐disciplinary teams. Ms. Isaacs-Lowe has melded her professional expertise with her philanthropic interest by serving on the boards of several non-profit organizations including Howard University School of Business, The Executive Leadership Council, Enterprise Community Investments and Northside Center. 

A graduate of Howard University, Arlene Isaacs‐Lowe was named one of the business schools most prominent alumni. She holds an MBA, summa cum laude, from Fordham University. She is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, the New York State Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.

Cyrus Kharas is a director on Arabella’s Advisory team. He works across a broad range of Arabella’s individual, institutional, and corporate clients, and contributes to the firm’s analysis of trends and opportunities in the impact investing field. He has substantial experience in economics, international development, capital markets, and social impact, and brings this expertise to support projects across Arabella. In his time at Arabella, Cyrus has managed several projects ranging in focus from capital markets dynamics for minority and female entrepreneurs to climate change initiatives. Cyrus is driven to find creative ways to unlock philanthropic and private capital to solve global challenges.Prior to joining Arabella Advisors, Cyrus spent several years at Goldman Sachs in the investment management division, where he focused on cross-asset class allocation and portfolio strategy. His team focused on institutions and the current and retired partners of Goldman Sachs. Previously, he was an analyst at Calvert Impact Capital, where he designed and managed portfolios of impact investments for institutional clients with specific impact goals. He participated in the underwriting and presenting of investments to the clients, as well as ongoing financial and impact monitoring of the portfolio. Cyrus began his career at the US Treasury Department in the Office of International Affairs.Cyrus serves on the junior board of the New York City-based Advocates for Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to representing disadvantaged kids in the NYC school system. He has a BA from Tufts University in psychology and economics and an MBA with a concentration in economics from NYU Stern School of Business. Cyrus is an avidsoccer player and fan. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and daughter.

Jana Holt is Global Director of Sustainable Investing Solutions at SEI Investments, an investment manager serving institutional and high net worth investors, as well as independent financial advisors and private banks. In this role, she leads the development of sustainable investing strategy and implementation through SEI products and solutions.
 
Prior to joining SEI in 2020, Jana was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable Finance Group where she led thought leadership, capacity building and firmwide initiatives for the Morgan Stanley Institute for Sustainable Investing. She was also a Client Director at Context Group, a sustainability consultancy advising clients on sustainability strategy, reporting and communications. She has also held sustainability-focused roles with Au Bon Pain, the Rocky Mountain Institute and the Environmental Defense Fund. Jana holds an M.B.A. and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a B.A. from Princeton University.
